Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat are the levels of service that Mill Creek can provide?

We offer Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Advanced Memory Care. We are the only continuum of care community in the Marquette Area, offering these services in one location.

How many people live at Mill Creek?

We have 46 Independent Living homes, 38 Assisted Living apartments and 18 Memory Care apartments. On average, we have over 100 people living in our community.

Can guests dine with me at Mill Creek?

Yes! Your guests are welcome to dine with you for a small fee. Reservations are appreciated ahead of time.

Can my out-of-town guest stay overnight at Mill Creek?

Yes. Your loved one is welcome to stay with you in your home or apartment at no additional charge.

Do you allow pets?

Yes! Pets are permitted in Independent and Assisted Living. Additional charges and some restrictions apply.

I am a veteran/my spouse was a veteran. Do I qualify for financial assistance?

If you are a veteran or a surviving spouse of a veteran, you may eligible for financial assistance to help pay for your stay in an assisted living residence. The program is called the Veteran’s Aid and Attendance Benefit. For more information, please visit the Veteran’s Administration website (https://www.va.gov/pension/aid-attendance-housebound/)or call them at 800-827-1000 and ask to speak to a benefits coordinator to learn more

Do you provide transportation?

Transportation is provided free of charge for scheduled group outings each month such as trips to Museums, restaurants and shopping. Additional transportation and escort services are available by appointment. Please contact the Administrator for pricing information.

Can I bring my own furniture to Mill Creek?

Yes! You bring in all of your own furniture and belongings to decorate your apartment. It is your home and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
